How come you accepted the
debut film Nammal in a role of black tainted girl amidst
newcomers? After seeing the makeup my dad told me to drop it since it would
do me more harm. But I persisted saying that I should give it a
try. Even when the film was over nobody from the family or
friends thought anybody would recognize me. When the State
awards came I just went mad that my belief came true..
Your father Balchandran the
cameraman was responsible for you entering films? No way. He encouraged me to take up dancing and take
part in culturals.
When did you start getting
fans?
After CID Moosa and Sapnakoodu, I became a hit with the young
crowd.
Any hobbies?
No nothing much. Just watching old movies on TV.
Your Trichur dialect will come
in the way of dubbing?
In Sapnakoodu I was told to speak without my native slang and I
did it so. I can drop it if I want to.
